Triad
Design with Iso.Zorb is a tri-component system,
designed to maximize power, control, and comfort without
compromising one for the other. The hoop and the handle
of a TRIAD racquet (components #1 and #2) are designed
as customized components. They never touch. Wilson buffers
them with a third component, Iso-Zorb, an exclusive
Wilson polymer. Iso-Zorb is similar to the material
used in skyscraper foundations to absorb the shock of
an earthquake. The result is an effective dampening
of shock and vibration (up to 60%, according to Wilson)
during ball impact for a substantially quieter, more
comfortable feel.
Hammer racquets
are engineered to maximize the area of the sweetspot.
First, weight is taken out of the handle but remains
in the racquet head - thus creating a "hammer"
effect. This proprietary weighting system extends the
center of percussion - the heart of the sweet spot and
area with no shock - into the upper part of the racquet.
This is important, since more than 2/3 of all tennis
balls are hit on the top part of the racquet. As a result
of these changes, Hammer racquets offer players greater
maneuverability, power and control.

Hyper
Carbon is an ultra high modulus graphite
that is the lightest, stiffest and strongest material
ever used in tennis rackets. Used mainly in the aerospace
industry, Hyper Carbon is produced exclusively for Wilson
by Toray - the #1 fiber supplier in the world. When
applied to the leading edge of the frame, the end result
is more power. When applied to the inside and outside
of the frame, torsional stability is enhanced.
